Mudano is a company that’s very ambitious. We are all in it together to succeed and we truly believe we can change the project management industry by applying Delivery Science. Working at Mudano has allowed me to get ideas from designers, data scientists and project managers on ways to improve our recruitment strategy. We have grown from 60 to nearly 150 in the last year and we are continuing to grow.
The reason I joined Mudano was because of the togetherness and passion from everyone I spoke to and the clarity of the vision of the co-founders. I wanted to have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and explore all areas of the business across data analytics, graphic design and lean principles – this access has been key to improving our recruitment strategy.
What is Mudano like for me? I can really be myself and try new things. If I feel something will work better I can go ahead and do it – there is full autonomy in my role to make decisions based around data and improving value. I have the opportunity to work from home, our Edinburgh or London office. The flexibility is great – it’s not about who stays in the office the longest here, or “making up the hours” – it's about working smarter so you can deliver more efficiently.
Everyone here gets involved and there are no barriers. It doesn’t matter if you are the CEO or a Software Engineer – if you have an idea it will be heard. This is what Mudano is about – openness and inclusion. We regularly hold Design Thinking sessions and everyone in the company is welcome to convey ideas or concepts. The culture is one to be proud of where everyone is “in it together” and fully trusted by the team. You can see that in our retention since inception.
